Vocabulary 7 - Independence

Independence (noun) - freedom from the control, influence, support, aid, or the like, of others. Examples: 1. He values personal independence, a lot. 2. India fought the British for its independence. 3. After independence, Sardar Patel played a critical role in bringing and binding all the states together. 4. The employees may feel that they do not have sufficient independence to take decisions proactively. Synonyms: Freedom, Liberty, Power Antonyms: Dependence, Slavery, Constraint, Suppression, Restraint Assignment: 1. Make at least 5 sentences with each word - synonyms, and antonyms. ..... चुका था / चुकी थी / चुके थे / ......... (कार्य) कर दिया था। Subject had III form Object. काम का past tense में पूरा होना दर्शाया जाये, तब उसे past perfect tense कहते हैं। Examples: 1. राम खाना खा चुका था। Ram had eaten his food. 2. मैंने कल रात ही वो रिपोर्ट पूरी कर दी थी। I had already completed that report last night. 3. हमने अपने taxes पहले ही deposit कर दिए थे। We had already deposited our taxes. 4. मैं अभी भी पढ़ रही थे, लेकिन मेरा भाई अपना homework कर चुका था। I was still studying, but my brother had finished his homework. 5. वह अभी रिटायर नहीं हुआ था। He hadn't retired yet. 6. क्या तुम तब तक तलाक के लिए एप्लीकेशन डाल चुके थे? व्हाट्सएप ग्रुप्स में से एक में एक एक्सरसाइज को ले कर डिबेट खड़ी हो गई। एक सज्जन बोले "मजाक चल रहा है क्या?" दूसरे सज्जन, सदस्यों से उनके असाइनमेंट पर आधारित स्टेटमेंट को ले कर जिरह बहस करने लगे। वहां से ये पोस्ट उठी है, आप भी पढ़ सकते हैं। एक बात बताती हूँ आप सबको। मैं एक टेक्नोलॉजी फर्म में एक नौकरी करती थी एक वक़्त। लेकिन मैनेजमेंट रोल में थी। इसलिए मैनेजमेंट और टेक्नोलॉजी दोनों समझने पड़ते थे। एक दिन एक क्लाइंट के साथ मीटिंग में बॉस ले के गए। वहां, बॉस ने की टेक्नोलॉजी की बात, मैंने की मैनेजमेंट की बात, लेकिन क्लाइंट सिर्फ दीन दुनिया की बात करता रहा। कई बार बड़ा मन किया कि क्लाइंट से पूछूँ कि भाई किधर घूम रहे हो? लेकिन मैं वहाँ सबसे जूनियर थी, और दूसरा सीखने गयी थी, इसलिए चुप रही। लेकिन बॉस, उसकी हर बात को घुमा फिर कर हमारे टेक्नोलॉजी / मैनेजमेंट बिज़नेस सोलूशन्स / प्रोडक्ट से जोड़ देते। जब हम वापस आये तो मुझसे मेरे बॉस ने पूछा - "अनुपमा आज क्या सीखा?" मैंने कहा ये सीखा कि नेटवर्किंग कितनी ज़रूरी है बिज़नेस डील्स के लिए। और क्लाइंट को बिना लड़े , बिना ऑफेंड क

Vocab 6 - Verb / क्रिया

Verb / क्रिया - इन शब्दों से 3 चीज़ें पता चलती है : 1. किसी का कोई काम करना 2. किसी काम का होना या किया जाना 3. किसी चीज़, व्यक्ति आदि का होना Verb सामान्यतः auxilliary या helping verbs (सहायक क्रियाओं ) के साथ काम में ली जाती हैं। सामान्य तौर पर verb की तीन form होती हैं। इसके अतिरिक्त verb की एक -ing फॉर्म भी होती है, जिसे 4th फॉर्म भी कह दिया जाता है। अलग अलग tenses (काल), अलग अलग voice (वाच्य) और अलग अलग कर्त्ता तथा कर्म के अनुसार auxilliary और verb की इन चार forms में से एक को जोड़ कर के वाक्य बनाये जाते हैं। इसे तरह से इस्तेमाल करने के तरीके को verb का conjugation कहा जाता है। इसलिए वाक्य बनाने सीखने से पहले, tense और voice सीखने से पहले, यदि verbs के forms सीखें जाएं तो काफी आसानी होती है। इन फॉर्म्स को बनाने के कई तरीके हैं। सबसे सामान्य और प्रचलित तरीका है फर्स्ट फॉर्म के आगे -ed तथा -ing लगा देना। जैसे - Observe, observed, observed, -ing . लेकिन बहुत से उदाहरण ऐसे भी मिलते हैं जहाँ, तीनों शब्द भिन्न होते हैं - जैसे eat, ate, eaten, eating . कई ऐसे उदाहरण भी हैं, जहाँ

तुम...... हो You.............are (Adj / Noun) Examples: तुम गलत हो। - You are wrong. तुम एक misogynist हो। - You are a misogynist. तुम एक डर्मेटोलॉजिस्ट हो। - You are a dermatologist. तुम एक bibliophile हो। - You are a bibliophile तुम बहुत diligent हो। - You are very diligent. Words made from other words: उदाहरण एक उदाहरण देखें। Friend शब्द noun (संज्ञा) है, लेकिन इसके पहले prefix और बाद में suffix लगा कर नए शब्द बनते हैं। जैसे friend से एक verb बनती है befriend (दोस्त बनाना) । इसी तरह एक शब्द friendship (noun - दोस्ती) भी बनता है। एक शब्द है friendly (dosti-bhara)। ये adjective है, किसी के व्यवहार को दर्शाने के काम आता है। आपका assignment: 1. जैसे उदाहरण में देखा वैसे ही कुछ शब्द नीचे के 3 शब्दों से बनाएं। 2. जो भी शब्द आप बनाएं उनमें से हर शब्द के, एक से ज़्यादा अर्थ बताइये। 3. हर अर्थ के अनुसार इस शब्द को इस्तेमाल कर के एक से ज़्यादा वाक्य बनाएं । 4. हर शब्द के 3 synonyms और 3 antonyms लिखिए, और उनसे भी वाक्य बनाइये। नोट ये असाइनमेंट लंबा लग सकता है लेकिन है नहीं। आपसे जितना हो पाए उतना आराम से करें लेकिन उत्तर देते समय, कम से कम एक पूरे शब्द का असाइनमेंट एक फॉरमेट में भेजें। ________ आंसर देने के लिए ये फॉर्मेट इस्तेमाल कर सकते हैं - Word : Synonyms - Sentence 1. 2. 3.
